MPA Europe at World Oceans Day

The MPA Europe coordinator, Mark Costello, made a keynote presentation at an MPA conference on World Oceans Day in Cork, Ireland.

He focused on how experiences in MPA carried out globally, often provided surprising results, and also how Ireland and Europe would benefit from fully-protected MPA.

This event brought together citizens, scientists, economists and many other stakeholders to discuss how MPA can have positive impact on society and biodiversity.
