Early registration is now officially open for the Marine Protected Areas in Marine Spatial Planning (MPA in MSP) International Conference, scheduled to occur in Bødo, Norway from July 9-12, 2025. This conference will serve as a key platform for professionals and academics involved in marine protected areas and marine spatial planning.

The call for abstracts continues until February 3, 2025. Interested participants wishing to present their research or projects can submit their abstracts through our submission portal at MPA in MSP Abstract Submission. Submissions must be made in English and should relate directly to the main theme of the conference. Presentations should offer new insights or findings relevant to an international audience of scientists and marine spatial planners, while descriptive contributions or project updates are recommended to be presented as posters.

The MPA in MSP Conference aims to facilitate critical discussions on integrating marine protected areas into marine spatial planning to support biodiversity conservation and sustainable marine resource use.
